Director of Visual Design

Description
While at Eventbrite, I hired and lead the eight person design team, fostered a thriving creative family environment, and established high standards for our design output. We redesigned and launched our site twice, visually and structurally overhauled our blog, created a store for our physical swiper, launched several iPhone and Android apps, created a box office solution for iPad, and localized our services for several international locations. Our designs have won several nominations and a Nielsen Norman Award—but the best reward was growing and fostering the team camaraderie that we made every day bright, on-brand, and a joy to take part in.
